Because of this, we offer two different methods for treating termites: a traditional liquid treatment with Termidor and a bait system using the Advance Trelona Termite Bait System. Types of Termites

Termite workers are the termites in a colony responsible for seeking out food or cellulose for the colony. They are also tasked with building and maintaining the mud tubes they travel through. The cellulose that they eat is found in wood and grass, which results in the damage that you see to your home.

Termite soldiers are responsible for defending the colony. They defend the colony from other termites and ants. Soldiers act as the first line of defense when there is a breech in one of their termite tubes.

The termite queen is an egg laying machine. Able to lay hundreds – even thousands – of eggs per day, the queen determines the size of the colony. There is always an army of workers tending to and feeding the queen.
